Coe and I's love story began where most do... at a bar. We were both attending medical school in Blacksburg, VA and met at Top of the Stairs through a mutual friend after deciding to skip an anticipated shutout for the Virginia Tech Hokies. I'm convinced we met after I tried stealing his fried green beans at the bar. He's convinced that wasn't him. Regardless, like a true gentleman, he bought me a slice of pizza and a cab ride home. It's been love ever since!
We spent a week in Cabo for my 30th birthday in February of 2018. Coe had planned out an amazing day/week for us. On my birthday we woke up early to drive a few hours to La Paz to swim with whale sharks (his idea, not mine). If anyone ever wondered if someone can hear you screaming through a snorkel... they can.
After a scary, exciting but exhausting day, we were starving! He took us out to a beautiful sunset dinner overlooking the ocean where he got down on one knee and proposed. There just happened to be a photographer floating around the restaurant so we managed to get a few pictures afterwards. It was the most amazing day and we can't wait to spend the rest of our lives together!
Our Thai Water ceremony is something I will never forget!
